The dawn
As long as
the gun will
thunder,
as long as
a hand will ask
for a morsel,
as long as
there will be
someone
who in the name of
an entity,
a principle,
or a presumed
truth,
will use your
mind,
your body,
your intimacy,
as long as
there will be one
who will divide Mankind
in blacks and
whites,
Christians and
Islamites,
Jews and
Palestinians
men and women,
these and those,
you and us,
as long as
the barbed wire
will encircle the
hips of the Earth...
we will always be
at the dawn of civilization
which, perhaps,
some day will come.
